Every card is hand typed on a mid-century typewriter and adorned with a real cancelled postage stamp from the 1890s-1980s. Each envelope is hand lined with a page from a mid-century encyclopedia. The mix of the hand typing, the different stamp cancellations, and the varied liners mean that each card is one-of-a-kind and special. Every card is blank inside. All cards are suitable for a 4X6 frame.

The base cards are a beautiful 80# card stock in a smooth white that is easy on the eyes (not too bright, not quite cream) and fountain pen friendly. The envelopes are all made from high quality paper that is at least 30% post-consumer waste. (Paper bag envelopes are 100% post-consumer!)

Individual cards are placed in a clear plastic sleeve for protection. Boxes of six are also available (mix & match, or the same style.)

Each order will be shipped by USPS and costs will be based on weight. We ask for a three day turnaround time for shipping your order, but often can complete orders in a shorter window. If you live in Forest Park, Oak Park, or River Forest, free delivery may be arranged.

Custom original cards or framed pieces are available and start at $10 per card or $20 per framed piece. Prices are determined by the length of the quote and the availability of the stamp. I have a huge collection of postage stamps and can often make the perfect pairing for you within my collection. I’m happy to work with you for the perfect gift!
